Welshimer Makes Conceptual Jail Plan Proposal

Sedgwick County Commissioner Gwen Welshimer today announced her long-term conceptual jail plan for continuing to address and reduce the Sedgwick County Jail populations and avoid the construction of additional jail space.  Commissioner Welshimer’s conceptual plan made six specific recommendations.  Those recommendations were:
